Recap: Who won the 2024 US Grand Prix?
Last year, the United States Grand Prix was painted red as Ferrari pulled off a shock one-two finish. Charles Leclerc took the lead on the opening lap and cruised to a commanding victory, with teammate Carlos Sainz close behind.
The real drama of the 2024 race unfolded behind Ferrari, where Max Verstappen and Lando Norris battled it out for third. Norris initially crossed the line ahead but, after being judged to have gained an advantage by running off the track, he was forced to hand the final podium place back to Verstappen.

Who will win the 2025 US Grand Prix? Our predictions
The US Grand Prix 2025 promises to be another hard-fought and unpredictable race in what has so far been a captivating season. Based on form, it’s difficult to see beyond a victory from one of McLaren’s formidable duo, Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris – the latter in particular will be hungry for redemption after his costly mistake last season.
That said, last year’s winner Charles Leclerc remains a threat, while Max Verstappen is chasing a third victory of the season. Elsewhere, despite a subdued season, Lewis Hamilton can never be discounted. He’s a six-time winner at COTA and found the podium in 2021 and 2022. Once again, it’s shaping up to be another exhilarating race deep in the heart of Texas.
