Arrive + Welcome
Arrive in Zurich. Following transfers to your stunning first hotel, spend the afternoon relaxing and enjoying the hotel's extensive spa and wellness amenities, or opt to get out and explore the city. In the afternoon you will meet our representative for a detailed walkthrough and handover of your chosen vehicle for your self-drive tour through the Swiss Alps.
First Drive Day
The first day of your luxurious self-guided driving holiday through the Swiss Alps warms up with a cruise east on a scenic highway that runs alongside Lake Lucerne. From here you will conquer your first three passes – Susten Pass, Grimsel Pass, and the lesser-known but equally scenic and technical Nufenen Pass. In the afternoon you will arrive at a stunning chalet in a famed ski town.
Second Drive Day
Day two of your Swiss Alps self-drive tour will see you take the famed Furka Pass north, then loop alongside Brienz and Thun Lakes. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a number of smaller runs that pass through a series of picturesque national parks, before concluding in a gorgeous village known for its affluent summer and winter escapes.
Third Drive Day
On the third day of your self-guided driving holiday in Switzerland, you will head across the Gruyere national park and Jura mountains before concluding in Geneva (we highly recommend stopping for lunch in Gruyere on route). In the late afternoon, conclude your tour with a glass of chilled champagne overlooking Lake Geneva.
Optional Swiss Watch Experience | Departures
On the final day of your Swiss holiday, we recommend opting to enjoy a guided tour of what Switzerland is possibly best known for – watches! Explore the Patek Phillipe museum and stroll Geneva's luxury shopping street before onward travel plans.
