HunterMoss is a boutique luxury travel company dedicated to providing extraordinary experiences around the globe for discerning guests worldwide. We curate small group supercar tours and bespoke travel journeys that embody luxury, exclusivity, and impeccable service from beginning to end.
We are seeking a talented, multi-disciplined Photographer and Videographer based in the United States to join our global events team on a contracted, non-exclusive basis for US-based events.
This is a hybrid role for someone who is equally comfortable behind the camera and as part of a high-performing event team. You will capture the moments, people, destinations, and experiences that define a HunterMoss journey, while also contributing to the smooth delivery of our events and supporting our guests throughout their vacation.
Our US tours typically run for 4 days / 3 nights, with contractors joining an international events team to deliver a seamless, luxury guest experience.
The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for candid, emotive and editorial-style photography and videography, while being able to work within established brand guidelines and content requirements. You will be comfortable anticipating key moments, coordinating with the wider event team to ensure important moments are captured, and creating engaging social-first content using mobile devices.
Alongside your media responsibilities, you will participate in guest transfers, event logistics and other event team duties as required. You will be comfortable engaging directly with high-value guests, building rapport and representing the HunterMoss brand with professionalism, warmth and discretion.
You will report into the Events Team and Marketing Lead, with training, guidance and creative direction provided by our Lead Media Team Member.
Key Responsibilities
• Capturing high-quality candid photography and videography throughout HunterMoss events and tours
• Creating content that aligns with HunterMoss’ brand guidelines, visual standards and required output
• Capturing authentic guest interactions, experiences and key one-shot moments without disrupting the guest experience
• Working closely with the wider events team to anticipate and coordinate important photography and videography opportunities
• Creating social-first content using smartphones, including short-form video and other content suitable for social media
• Working across photography, videography and mobile content creation as required, adapting quickly to the needs of each event
• Participating in guest transfers, event movements and other operational event responsibilities
• Supporting the wider event team with guest-facing duties and general event coordination as required
• Liaising confidently and professionally with guests while maintaining discretion and an exceptional level of service
• Working collaboratively with the Events Team, Marketing Lead and Lead Media Team Member
• Ensuring media is captured, managed and delivered in accordance with agreed HunterMoss requirements and timelines
• Representing HunterMoss professionally at all times and contributing to a seamless, luxury guest experience
What We Are Looking For
• Proven professional experience as a photographer and videographer, with a portfolio demonstrating both disciplines
• A strong portfolio showcasing candid, people-focused photography and high-quality event content
• Experience creating engaging social media content, including the ability to capture and edit content using mobile devices
• A natural ability to identify and capture authentic, spontaneous moments while remaining unobtrusive
• Experience working within brand guidelines and adapting creative output to an established visual identity
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to liaise directly with guests
• Experience in luxury travel, hospitality, events or other premium service environments would be highly regarded
• Wedding photography and/or videography experience will be highly regarded, particularly given the importance of capturing significant, one-shot moments and anticipating moments before they happen
• Intermediate experience with drone operation, skilled at tracking moving vehicles, with relevant licences for commercial flights. FPV drone content is welcome but not crucial.
• A highly adaptable and multi-disciplined approach, with the ability to move between creative and event responsibilities throughout a tour
• Professional, polished and personable, with a strong understanding of discretion and guest privacy
• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a global events and marketing team
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced event environment
• A current driver’s licence and demonstrated competence and confidence driving as part of event operations
• Based in the United States and available to travel for contracted HunterMoss events
• Comfortable working on a non-exclusive contractor basis, with availability agreed around individual events and requirements
Contract & Working Arrangement
This is a non-exclusive independent contractor position, with engagements offered in line with the HunterMoss event calendar and business requirements.
Contractors will join individual events as part of our global events team, typically for 4 days / 3 nights. This role is not exclusive to HunterMoss, allowing you to continue working with other clients and businesses outside of contracted HunterMoss engagements.
